Outside the Office
Cardinal employees volunteer their time to support local charities multiple times throughout the year. As of 2020, Cardinal employees have contributed over 1,200 hours to local and national charities. In addition to the volunteer hours, we have supported several donation drives supplying items for natural disaster relief and economic support throughout the year. In addition to our group volunteer activities, Cardinal offers a Charitable Gift Matching Program offered to all employees. Cardinal matches employee donations to organizations recognized by the IRS as charities with tax-exempt status. Donations have been made to over 30 charities annually since its inception.
In August 2022, Cardinal playing its annual Ryder Cup tournament, the culmination of a summer long company golf league. The tournament is one of our favorite events of the year, a combination of scramble, alternate shot, and match play. 2022’s winner was Team Europe, led by team captain Keith Chambers. It was a great day on the golf course hitting the links with our colleagues and friends.
In December 2022, Cardinal employees Carolyn Carollo, Jake Meese, Kevin Tucker, and Hannah Atkinson conquered the 8-Hour Adventure Race course. Their team, Lost in Creve Coeur, finished in 8 hours and with 45 seconds to spare.
In October 2021, Cardinal organized a company retreat at Trout Lodge Missouri to nurture our culture with exceptional colleagues and friends.
