Andy joined Cardinal in 2009. Prior to joining Cardinal, he served with the manager research group at Mercer Investment Consulting where he researched hedge fund strategies and headed the Alternatives Ratings Committee. Prior to that, Andy was with Allstate Insurance in the firm’s investment department. During his 17-year tenure at Allstate, Andy’s main areas of responsibility included quantitative equity research, fixed income modeling, hedge fund portfolio management, and strategic asset allocation.

Andy holds a BS in Computer Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received his CFA charter in 1995 and his CAIA charter in 2004.
